Sylvia Papapostolou-Kienzl
Producer of "ΜΕ ΔΙΚΑ ΜΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΔΙΚΑ ΣΑΣ ΛΟΓΙΑ"
Sylvia Papapostolou-Kienzl came to New York from Athens in 2001 to pursue a Master's degree in Political Science at The New School and, like many great New York love stories, ended up staying for good. Her career has taken her through journalism, broadcasting, communications, diplomacy, and nonprofit leadership, with stops at the Greek Mission to the United Nations, Queens Public Library, the Metropolitan Opera, and Carnegie Hall, where she currently serves as Director of Major Gifts. At the heart of it all has been a passion for connecting people with ideas, institutions, and causes that matter.
Since 2004, Sylvia has been a volunteer producer at the Hellenic Public Radio. Remarkably, after more than two decades, she still wakes up early every Sunday for Me Dika Mas kai Dika Sas Logia and somehow manages to do so with enthusiasm, caffeine, and only minimal complaints. She is the proud mom of Amalia and Melina and a lifelong believer that strong communities are built one idea, one debate, and one conversation at a time.
