Stelios Taketzis

Born in Constantinople and raised in Athens, Stelios came to New York in 1979 for what was meant to be a six-month internship, and he never left. A retired shipping executive, he has volunteered at COSMOS FM since 1995. Over the years he has served in numerous roles at the organization, including Chairman of the Board, Executive Director, and Chair of the Programming Committee, among others. He currently produces and co-hosts the station's Sunday morning program, Me Dika Mas kai Dika Sas Logia, a light mix of news and music.
