Michael Stratis
A lawyer-turned-teacher, Michael Stratis relishes the opportunity to explore his Hellenic ancestry and present his views on a wide spectrum of musical, literary, political, philosophical, theological, artistic and historical themes. He is a graduate of Fordham University (Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics) and Seton Hall Law School (Juris Doctorate), and a member of the New Jersey Bar.
He served as a teacher for over three decades in academia, teaching European and Global History, as well as the Greco-Roman Classics, in New Utrecht High School [10 years] in Brooklyn and in Garden City High School [23 years]. He retired in 2024. A native New Yorker, he is fiercely proud of his Greek roots [Macedonia and Messenia], his Greek Orthodox faith, and his wife and two sons. He has been a proud member of the Pan-Macedonian Federation since 1992.
He joined Cosmos FM in 2011 and has since then been the producer of "MUSICAL MASTERWORKS."
